After meeting Frank Brown Gardner, they were married by Rev. Lloyd Sapp at her home in Ashland, MO in the summer of 1947. Bonnie's five children gave her 8 grandchildren.
Bonnie was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Wilkes Blvd. Methodist Church. She was employed for 27 years as the Deputy Assessor of Boone County. She died from cancer, 11 November 1995.
