Ms. Allen was born Oct. 11, 1925 in Boone County to John Gardner and Brooksie Brown Gardner.
She was a Florissant resident for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Dana Drummond of Florissant; one sister. Helen Moore of Columbia;
four brothers, John Gardner and Frank Gardner, both of Columbia, Ronald Gardner of Sparta, and Jack
Gardner of Glenpool. Okla. and two grandsons.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Note: Lelah Ruth Allen, 64. formerly of Columbia died Friday, July 13. 1990 in Florissant. Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Niblaik officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8p.m. tonight at the funer
