 Be it remembered that I Jesse Janney of the County of
 Loudoun and State of Virginia being weak of body but
 of sound disposing mind and memory and calling to
 mind the uncertainty of times in this Transitory word
 and do this 17th day of the Six month in the year of our
 Lord 1816 make this my last will and testament in
 manner and form as follows Viz; I will & desire that all
 my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon
 as convenient after my decease. I give and bequeath
 unto my two brothers. Stacy and William all my
 wearing apparel of what of what kind Soever to be
 equally divided between them. I give and bequeath
 unto my neice Hannah Janney Daughter of my brother
 Stacy, the house and Loft whereon I now live with all
 the improvements therein as also the Loft I purchased
 of George Tavender adjoining thereto to her and her
 heirs and assigns forever likewise all my Looking
 glasses I give and bequeath unto the monthly meeting
 of Friends at Goose Creek the Sum of one hundred
 dollars. I give and bequeath unto Ann Cimmings a girl
 that is now serving in the family the sum of one hundred
 dollars when she arrives to the age of eighteen years
 but if it shall so happen that she departs this life before
 she arrives to that age in that case I desire it to be added
 to my estate yet to be disposed of I will and desire that
 my Exors here after named do sell either at private or
 public sale all my real and personal estate of what kind
 soever and the money arising there form to be paid by
 them as hereafter directly. I will and desire after the
 above mentioned Legacies are paid that all the resides
 and remainder of my estate what kind soever be equally
 divided between the surviving children of my sisters Ann
 White the Surviving children of my brother Stacy (except
 Hannah) the Surviving children of my brother Isaac the
 Surviving children of my brother William the surviving
 children of my sister Hugh's the Surving children of my
 sister Leatitia Wildman share and share alike and Lastly
 I nominate and appoint my Friends Wm Nichols and
 Bernard Taylor Exors of this my Last will of Testament
 and desire that they make good and Sufficient deeds for
 any Land they sell under this will hereby revoking all
 former wills by me made declaring this to be my Last
 will and testament and desire it to be recorded as such
 as witness my hand and Seal the day month and year
 first above written
