a. Note:   Aunt Dovey said her mother's name was Merindy Jane Angeline Moser. She was always called Rendy. Rendy's mother was Rhoda Ann McPeters.
  Aunt Dovey said Rendy was married to Oscar Steel who remarried. No explanation for the divorce was known. It could have something to do with the death of Josephine Steel in 1905.
