Died in Civil War in Knoxville, Tenn. This info came from Buster Connally, great grandson of Thomas Jr.
The house that Elizabeth and Thomas moved into after their marriage was built and given to them by Elizabeth's father, William T. Whitaker. This house is still standing( built 1858) and owned and occupied by Dennis Lee. It has been remodeled inside and out. It is located near the Bethlehem school.
