Note: I found the following census record in Wayne County, North Carolina for 1790. I do not know if this might be the father or grandfather of my Willoughby Rodgers or not. Rogers, Willowby 1 free white male age 16 & up, including head of house. 4 free white males under age 16 1 free white female The 1800 census index for Moore County, North Carolina, Roll #32 lists Willabay Rogers. ****************** This family should show on the 1840 census for Tennessee, but I have been unable to find them there. 1850 Census, Calloway County, Kentucky, district No. 2, dwelling # 422, family # 323 Rogers, Wilaby 31 farmer (place of birth unknown) Sarah 31 (place of birth unknown) Martha 13 TN Maryann 11 TN Wm. January 1, 1859, willoughby (Williby) Rodgers signed Document # 27608 to purchase by Federal Land Patent, 80 acres in the County of Ripley, State of Missouri, description: W 1/2 of the NE quarter of Section 36, Township # 25-N, Range 2-E, 5th Principal Meridian (the only Meridian in Ripley county) 1860 Ripley County, Missouri Census, Johnson Twp, P.O. Duffill in Ripley County, Missouri on that date. I also found the following census record for 1880. (Apparently Ennis H.
