  Catherine, at age 58, was declared insane by action of the McLean County Court on January 16, 1884, and was committed to the Illinois Central Hospital for the Insane in Jacksonville, IL. The petition was brought by her daughter Hattie Hunt (Buchholtz?) (McLean County Probate Record, Book U, pages 309-310)
