 On January 25, 1887 Anna Banach, (or Banasiewsk, at this moment I cannot recall where I got this additional spelling) married Leon (Latin name Leonem) Rachocki. (Rochowski is another spelling) The witnesses to the wedding were Michael Plucinski and Andrias Krzemiski. The priest was Rev. Baranski.
 On March 14, 2001 I found a previously unknown to me document. This document on the marriage of Leon + Anna shows a different spelling of the witnesses names and a totaly different priest.
  When Anna marries Frank Romanowski, I have that her mother was Catharina. According to the 11-10-1892 marriage licence (State of Michigan, County of Wayne) to marry on 11-21-1892 she spelt her married name to Leon as Rachotzka. (This info found in the LDS library #112589) She was 27, had been married once before and her father was Frank Banach and mother was Katherine Urbanek.
  According to the 1900 Us Census (Burton Library) microfilm 1018, real 53, Anna was a white female born in July of 1865 in Poland. She was 34 in 1900. All six of her children were alive in 1900. With in the next 5 years, two toddlers would die and also Salomie (Stella is the name on 1900 census) the last child of her first husband Frank Rachocki.
  This census said she could read and write, but not in English. But when I found the paper work for the sale of her half of the house that she shared with her first husband Leo Rachocki at 336 Superior (1186 changed in 1920) and his brother Frank, Anna had to sign with an X as her mark.
