  St Albertus #1024, reel #8, page 16, line 11 are the records of the marriage of John (Joamus) Najduk and Francisca Romanowska. This happened on September 17, 1914. John's parents were Andreas and Mariams Szymsuska.
  His ss# is 374-05-0313. He was working for American Radiator Co., Mich. Plant in Detroit at 1558 Trombly.
  His Social Sec. applacation says that he was born in Wiszyny (pronounced Vin-shin-ee), Mlawa Plock.
  Some say he beat his wife because he drank. Some say that he was okay during the week while he worked, it was the week ends that were bad. Aunt Irene said that he fought with a neighbor once, (Verbally) She also said that he was in church every Sunday.
  Even though I don't have it sourced yet, I do have the information that John Najduk was in De Ho Co (Detroit House of Correction) at least twice. The second was a probation violation. He spent his whole sentance there. It gives his weight when he came out. Info at the Burton Collection, Detroit Lib., Woodward Ave., Detroit, Wayne Co., MI. I have seen these books with my my own eyes.
  His family tried to move without him to Dane Street. He grabbed on the back of the truck. He died on Dane. He sat down and died. He was given last rights because his body was still warm or there was some breathing. His son Frank, told me that.
  He made his wife's life a living hell. Why?
  In 1913 he was living @@ 1125 Chene (5405 in 1920). This was on the corner of Kirby and Chene, a block away from Chene and Ferry where Frances Romanowski lived.
