a. Note:   I think he came over on the boat with his brother, Frank in 1884. He owned a house with him @@ 336 Superior St. in Detroit. After he died Anna his wife stayed on there and later sold her half. His brothers wife Mary (Anna) came one year later. His brother Frank and his family lived in the house on Superior untill they died and daughter Appoline and her husband got it.
