Note: e in 1914 to fight in the First World War. He met and married a London lady, Winnifred Reeve , and made London his home. Winnifred died during the Blitz (C. 1940), and they had no children. John Married his second wife, Myris, but they had only been married 4 years when John died.
John was decorated by the King for bravery in both the First and Second World War, at one point being involved in the evacuation at Dunkirk.
