Note: Albert and his wife Fannie were living on Wolf River in 1873 in a house that O.A. Yates built. This is where he kept his grocery supplies. In 1880 Albert bought O.A. Yates place. Albert came from Clintonville and started logging operations in 1886 and sold supplies for his camp stock. In 1890 Albert and his family moved to Langlade County and in 1895 he was selling supplies. By 1903 he had a general merchandise store.
