Notes
a. Note:   She was 11 years old when her mother died in 1863.
A Post Card from Eva's sister Clara speaks of their father's poor health.
It is believed that she inherited from her father, Henry Moyers, Jr., 38-40 acres located next to his home in Washington Township, Macomb County, Michigan. This was a four-way split of his homestead/farm between: Eva, Clara, Ward and Beecher. Ward and Beecher were from Henry Jr.s second marriage. This property is, at this writing, owned by the Romeo School District. It is a beautiful piece of property with rolling hills and deer.
The 38 acres that was left to Eva and Clara in the probate settlement for Henry Moyers was purchased by J H Crisman before 1895.
  CHECK THE DATES OUT
"I remember Great Grandmother Eva. She had a wart with a hair sticking out from it on her chin and she didn't talk. Eva's third child, Metta died less than a month after birth. Her husband Robert W Titus died two months after that. She lost her ability to speak from the grief she suffered and only spoke one word from that time on. Some time before she died, when she was living with her daughter (Orvie Bell Titus Maxwell), she was standing at the front window and spoke Orvie's name. Orvie responded excitedly saying 'Oh, Mother.' Eva sat down in her rocking chair and never uttered another word. However, the mystery is that she married again to a Warren Hinkley. She later divorced Hinkley for cruelty and desertion.
Her husband, Warren D Hinkley, was previously married to her sister Clarissa (Clara) Moyers.
Orvie Bell Titus Maxwell died on year and three months after her mother.
