a. Note:   John and Mary Maguire were from Ireland and had to go to Scotland during the potato famine of the 1840's . Their Children were born in Scotland and immigrated to the United states. John and Mary were living in Pennsylvania during the Molly Maguire Crisis. John and Edward Maguire took their children to Columbiana County Ohio and farmed there. Just far enough from the A.O.H grips. It was not safe for an Irish Catholic to live in Pa until after 1891 when the Coal Labor Union was dissolved by Pinkerton's Once the hangings ended they came back to Munhall, Pa. It is not clear When John came but Edward moved to Braddock, PA

  another poss. Is this, the dates are closer to what they should be
  Marriages Aughagower Parish 1854 to 1859 also shows the marriage on the same day so I assume that because this is the name of the Parish Church in that town it has to be them.
  Castlebar is in the parish of Aglish, but neither Scahill or
 Maguire are shown in the Primary Valuation Index for Aglish.
