Obituary, Miami News Record, Miami, Oklahoma, printed October 19, 1958 Livingston Rites Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Baptist church at Fairland for Luther R. Livingston. The 65-year -old Fairland resident died Sunday morning while enroute to the Veterans hospital, Muskogee, following an extended illness. Mr. Livingston was a member of the Masonic lodge at Commerce and the American Legion and Baptist church at Fairland. Surviving are a son, Airman 2/C Jim Livingston, Spokane, Wash.; two daughters, Pat and Joyce Livingston of the Fairland home; a brother, Joe Livingston, Denver, Colo.; and three sisters, Mrs Belle Woodman, Mrs. Nora Hibbs and Famia Lowen, all of Ponca City. The Rev. A. E. Nikkel will officiate at Wednesday's rites. Fairland Legionaires will conduct military rites at the cemetery there. Pallbearers will include Bonnie Bell, Coy Nichols, Dr. S. L. Stacy, Albert Borchardt, Roy Rousey, and Junior Bond. Masons will be honorary pallbearers. Arrangements are under direction of Cooper Funeral home at Fairland. NOTE: His sister Belle's last name was Woolman not Woodman as stated in the obituary.
