Note: - Both parents died before he was very young. He was raised by Sis & Ed Fultz.
- He worked as an engraver in his youth, and he retained this skill into his old age.
- He served in the Army during the 2nd World War in the Corp. of Engineers. His service was in the Pacific area and ships he was traveling on were attacked several times by Japanese Kamikazis.
- Although lacking much formal education there was little Joe could not do in the way of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other skills. If there was a way to do it, Joe would find it, and it was always done right.
Buried in Resthaven Cemetery.
