Note: Obituary - Frank Snell, fifty-eight, proprietor of Snell's garage and automobile accessory store, in Prescott Avenue, died about 4:50 o'clock yesterday afternoon in his home, 1509 Mulberry Street, after five days' illness of pneumonia. News of his death was learned with sorrow among a legion of acquaintances and friends throughout the city. Mr. Snell has been a resident of Scranton for fifty years and was well known and highly regarded. Mr. Snell fell at his hunting lodge at Lehigh last Tuesday and pneumonia developed from exposure. Mr. Snell...came to this city with his parents more than a half century ago. He formerly conducted a blacksmith shop in the 400 block of McKenna Court. With the advent of the automobile, Mr. Snell opened his garage in the 400 block of Prescott avenue fifteen years ago and continued in business there to the time of his death...(The Scranton Times, February 23, 1931)
