Note: The Claybaugh Family Tree
Louise Keifer married Margaret Springle. to them seven children were born one of which was Barbara Keifer who Married William Claybaugh.
They were both born in Frederick county, Md. and lived there until after their daughter Margaret was born in the fall of 1805. they moved near the forks of the Yough in west Moreland county; Pennsylvania; thence in the fall of 1814 into Ross County OH; thence in the spring of 1821 into Fayette County; OH; thence in the fall of 1829 into Frankline Co, OH; thence in the the spring of 1836 into Ross County; where William Claybaugh died Aug 5, 1838. In Sept 1850 Barbara Claybaugh went to Kenton, OH to visit her daughter Elizabeth and died there Dec 26, 1851. Wlliam Claybaugh was left an orphan at an early age and to use his own words was kicked from pillar to post until he got a home of his own.
