a. Note:   Karrels, 76, Succumbs to Death. An invalid since last August when she suffered a stroke, Mrs. Caroline Karrels, 76, of the town of Port Washington died yesterday (Tuesday) morning at 9:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nic Pierron in the town of Port Washington where she had been living in recent years. A Requiem Mass will be read Saturday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's Catholic church in Port Washington, followed by a service in St. Mary's Catholic Church at Lake Church at 10 o'clock that same morning. The deceased was born in the village of Belgium where she lived until the time of her marriage fifty-two years ago to Matthew Karrels, who preceded her in death twenty three years ago last June. The deceased, nee Gantner, leaves the following relatives to mourn her death: three brothers--Joseph Gantner of Belgium, Carl Gantner of San Diego; and Jake Gantner of Port Washington (now of San Diego also); one sister--Mary Gantner of Port Washington; and the following children--Mrs. Nic Pierron of the town of Port Washington; Mrs. Anna Poull of Belgium; Mrs. Catherine Bink of Milwaukee; Anthony Karrels of Mukwonago, Phillip Karrels of Belgium, and Charles Karrels of Port Washington.
