a. Note:   leveland Ave., Bradley, a native of Kankakee, died yesterday at St. Mary Hospital after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at St. Joseph Church in Bradley. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Manteno. Friends may call at the Hickey funeral home this afternoon and evening and until the hour of services. Mrs. Alexander was born Jan. 11, 1860 in Kankakee, a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Hypolete St. Germain. She made her home in Kankakee until 1880 when she was married to Fred Alexander in Irwin. The couple resided on a farm near Irwin for a few years, moving later to Manteno. The couple moved to Bradley about 36 years ago. Mr. Alexander died in 1936. Survivors include a daugher, Mrs. Arthur Longtin of Bradley, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Kankakee paper 20 Jul 1949.
