Note: ive weeks illness endured with great patience and resignation, Friday morning. The subject of this writing was born at Kankakee, on Feb 1881. When at the age of fifteen he moved to this village with his parents and has been a constant resdient until the time of his decease. Two years ago he married Miss Ida Hubert and the fruit of their union was a little girl now aged fourteen months. Alfred Alexander was a mebmer of Court 56 C.O.F. of Kankakee. The funeral took place at the Catholic church this morning officiated by Rev. Father Bourdeau. Among the many friends and relatives who were presnt at the funeral, were brother members of the C.O.F. of Kankakee and also many out of town people. The pall bearers were all members of the Manteno court 155 of the C.O.F., they were: George Bourdreau, George Contois, Joseph Cailois, Napoleon Pepin, J.O. Smith and Albert Trudeau.
