a. Note:   PETERSBURG SUN, 11 April 1947: "The body of Hiram Curtis Tucker, who death occured early Saturday evening April 5, was found Sunday noon beside the New York Central railroad track in the Deerfield village limits. Mr. Tucker apparently suffered a heart attack when returning to the Jewell Roe home where he had been staying the past few months.
 Born in Monroe county July 26, 1874, Mr. Tucker has always resided in this vicinty. His wife, Mrs. Agnes Roe Tucker, died several years ago.
 Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leora Miller of Ida and Mrs. Jessie Schwichtenberg if Petersburg; two brothers, Reuben H. Tucker of Britton and Harry W. Tucker of Tecumseh; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie VanNest of Romulus and Mrs. Grace Newell of Deerfield, and eight grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Petersburg at the Hemenway, Valentine & McNeil funeral home. Burial was made in the Deerfield cemetery.
 The pall bearers were Virgil and Merlyn Tucker, Donald Newell, Carson Stewart, LaVerne Theeke and Muriel Row."
  PETERSBURG SUN, 31 Jan 1941:
  " Mrs. Agnes Roe Tucker, aged 72 years, passed away at her home in Petersburg at 2:30 o'clock on Friday afternoon, january 24, after a short illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Tucker was born January 22, 1869, in Deerfield, and lived in this vicinity until 15 years ago. She was united in marriage to Hiram Tucker April 25, 1895, and she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward Miller, of Monroe, and Mrs. Jessie Weyher, at home; a sister, Mrs. Hiram Theeke, of this place; two brothers, Julius and Fred Roe, and seven grandchildren. One daughter preceded her in death. The funeral was held from St. Alphonsus church on Monday morning, January 27, at 9:30, with Rev. Fr. Geo. Kerby officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery."
