Note: Y and also Monroe Co, NY. Obit of unknown source, dated 14 May 1934: Mrs. Alice G. sutton, aged 84 years, died last Saturday in Rochester. She was the youngest and the last to pass on, of a family of eight children born of William and Matilda riswold of Italy Hill. Although her family resided in Yates county, she went at the age og eight to live with Theron Yeomans family of Walworth and thereafter made her home in that section with frequent visits to relatives here. She married Richard Sutton who died many years ago. She leaves a son Theron Sutton of Sandy Creek; a grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She often visited at the home of her niece, Mrs. A.D. Baldwin in rushville. The funeral services were held on Monday at the home of the deceased's niece, Mrs. tha Smith in Rochester and burial made there. Among those attending were Mrs. A.D. baldwin and daughter, Miss Cornelia, and son, George, and Mrs. Weld Burke of Prattsburg. The Griswold family is one of the oldest families of Italy Hill and has an interesting history. Mrs. Sutton's great-grandfather, Timothy Griswold, was the first settler to be buried in the Italy Hill cemetery. Two of her brothers served in the Union army during the Civil War, one being killed at Gettysburg. Two of her brothers lived to be over 90 years of age."
