Note: MONROE EVENING NEWS, May 13, 1938: "FRANK B. YOUNGLOVE IDA, May 13 -- Frank B. Younglove, aged 80 years, died Thursday night at his home in Ida. He had been in failing health for two years and seriously ill for the past two weeks. Heart trouble was given as the cause of death. Mr. Younglove was born in Raisinville township November 10, 1857, and had lived in the vicinty all his life. He was married March 28, 1895 to Miss Jennie Holford. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Earl of Lansing, Floyd of Monroe and Herbert of Ida; a daughter, Mrs. Oren Bentley of Ida; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Wescott of Detroit; four grandchildren, four nieces and two nephews. The body was removed to the Feinsauer funeral home and will be returned to the home Saturday morning. Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, The Rev. C.S. Harrington officiating. Interment will be in Monroetown cemetery. " MONROE EVENING NEWS, 23 June 1944: "Mrs. Jennie E. Younglove IDA, June 23 -- Mrs. Jennie E. Younglove, who suffered a stroke at 3:30 Wednesday, died at the home of her daughter here, Mrs. Oren Bentley, at 1:10 p.m. yesterday. Mrs. Younglove, whose home is on Lewis avenue, was taken to her daughter's home after she became ill Wednesday. Mrs. Younglove was born August 4, 1874, at Baldwin. The daughter of Edwin and Anna Holford, she had lived in Ida township since her marriage to Frank Younglove March 29, 1895. A member of the Ida Evangelical Church, she had served as president of the Ldies' aid Soceity for 20 years. Surviving are three sons, Earl of Landsin, Floyd of Ypsilanti, Herbert, at home; four grandsons, one in the South Pacific; two brothers, James Holford of Grand Rapids and E. N. Holford of Owsosso; and a half-sister, Mrs. Anna L. Nash of Baldwin. Mr. Younglove died May 12, 1938. The body was taken from the Eeinauer funeral home to Younglove residence this afternoon. A prayer service will be held there at 1:30 p.m. Sunday after which the body will be taken to the church for a service at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. Leonard C. toepfer will officiate and interment will be in Monroetown cemetery on Albain road." It appears that Jennie was five months old when her mother Anna died. She was living with her maternal grandparents in the 1880 Census, aged 5 years old.
