Note: MONROE EVENING NEWS, Oct 25, 1932: "William Spalding Dies Early Monday LAMBERTVILLE, Oct. 25--William Spalding, aged 67 years, died suddenly at his home one and one half miles northest of DeLand Corners Monday at 2 a.m. Death was due to a heart attack. Mr. Spalding was born at DeLand Corners but spent his boyhood in Lambertville. He later moved to the corner again where he was a farmer. he was married twice, his first wife, who was Miss Anna Upton, having died several years ago. His second wife, who survives, was Mrs. Ida Richardson. He is sruvived also by a son, Wesly of Erie, a daughter, Mrs. Carl Mannor, who lives near the Spalding residence, a half brother, Darr Spalding, and a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Johnson of Toledo. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lambertville Methodist Church with the Rev. Eddie Zuber officiating. Burial will be in the South Whiteford Union Center Cemetery."
