  Sept. 2, 1791: Heirs named in distribution: Henry, eldest son; Nathaniel, 2nd son; John, 3rd son; Ichabod, 4th son; heirs of Jacob, 5th son; Mary, eldest daughter; Abigail, 2nd daughter; and heirs of Huldah, 3rd daughter. This list does not jibe with children given in church and vital records. These need to be checked further as some of the children apparently died before the will was written and left no heirs, or some of the names might have been spelled differently. (7:238)
  Son Henry, administrator, did not live long after and apparently died before January 3, 1792 when three of his heirs entered an agreement for distribution of their father's share of his inheritance. See note under Henry Jr.
  Their home was on the site of the present Grosvenordale in Thompson (Genealogies of Woodstock, Families, v, pg 254),
  In Manual of the Congregational Church in Thompson, Conn., 1730-1901 (Aceto Bookmen, Sarasota, FL 1998), there is record that wife of Henry was a member of that church as of 1738.

  Henry Ellithorp of Killingly, yeoman, & Mehitable his wife; James Hosmer of Woodstock & Elizabeth his wife sold to David Barrit of Thompson land in Thompson, 23 acres laid out to Peter Aspinwall late of Woodstock 7 May 1747 (5:83).
  Henry Ellithorp of Killingly quit claim to Thomas Elliotof Killingly, land in Killingly - a farm house Thomas Elliott aforesaid bought of Edward Converse Jr or Killingly 30 Jan 1749/50 (5:182).
