  HISTORY OF YATES COUNTY, vol I, published 1873, states, "Truman Curtiss settled on a part of lot 31, North Survery, in 1810. He afterwards moved to Lot 45, South Survey, where he lived many years. But two of his children remained in the county, Joshua B., who moved away some years ago, and Mrs. Reuben Wheaton."
  WOMEN IN THE WESTERN RESERVE BEFORE 1840: Henrietta, Lois, Sarah, and Emogene entered 1832.
  The births of all the children here come from the Hausch Bible. It is not known when the Bible was published, and it appears that all the entries were entered in the same handwriting, even the entry about Lois's death.
