a. Note:   1920 Fed Census for Lambertville Cemetery Records for William A. and Ivadell M. Couture. There are also graves for Lloyd P. Couture b. 1892 d 1980 and Phebe L. Couture b 1893 d 1976 and Daryl W. Couture (WWII veteran) b. 04-09-1923 d. 01-12-1945. Death record shd be obtained to prove William was this Lloyd's father, but it is likely he was. He was probably married before the 1920 Fed Census.
  OBIT, May 1, 1939:
  " WILLIAM ALBERT COUTURE
  SAMARIA, May 1--William Albert Couture, aged 73 years, died at the home of his son Sterling Couture in Samaria at 11 o'clock Sunday morning. He had been ill from heart trouble for the past nine weeks. Mr. Couture had lived in Montgomery for five years until six weeks ago when he came to the son's home. Previous to the time spent in Montgomery he lived in and near Samaria.
 He was born in LaSalle May 18, 1865, and married Miss Ivadell Pomeroy, who died in 1925.
 Surviving are five sons, Lloyd, Sterling and Olin of Samaria, Erwin and Howard of Toledo; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Gilhouse of Toledo and Mrs. Helen Fielding of Temperance; a brother, John, of Trilby; a sister, Mrs. Rosie Disseau of Temperance and seven grandchildren.
 The body was removed to the Farnham funeral home and will be taken to the Sterling Couture home this afternoon.
 Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence. The Rev. J.D. McClouth of Addison will officiate and interment will be in the Lambertville cemetery."
