Note: David Chandler owed and operated a typewriter repair business in San Diego for many years. He went through a very bitter divorce in 1952 from Martha and shortly thereafter married Judy.
In an Interview with Marian Chandler (his step-mother) in 12/81, she stated:
David Lee was his father's favorite and the whole family was very fond of him. He was very earnest about helping his father from a very early age. He was kind-hearted and industrious and clever. He was greatly slowed down in his later years by Buerger's Disease which eventually killed him. Marian felt his marriage to Martha was ruined by a meddling mother in law.
