 She was born March 1853 in NC and married for 26 years
 She was illiterate
 Both parents were born in NC
 She was the mother of 12 children, 11 of who were living. IN 1910 she is listed as the mother of 12, of which 9 are living.

 According to her death certificate:
 She died 10/1/24 of "tuberculosis of the bowels", at the age of 66,in Colfax, Guilford Co, NC
 She was born in Surry Co NC, in 1858
 Her father was Maston Walls , born in Halifax VA
 Her mother was Rebecca Barrow, born in Halifax, VA (I believe this name is properly Rebecca Barr)
 The informant was Charlie Chandler .

 Married: 11 SEP 1873 in Yadkin County, NC
 Note: Have marriage certificate dated September 8, 1873. Lists Richard as being 22, therefore, making his birthdate 1851 and not 1847(if he was in fact 67 years of age when he died as listed on his death certificate). He is indicated being a resident of Surry County, NC and she a resident of Stokes County, NC. "Lindy" (as stated on the marriage certificate) mother is stated to be deceased, father living.
