  In 1910 he is living with his sister Hidvig and brother in law William J Neuman in Youngstown OH. He is working as a messenger boy
  The Ohio MIlitary Men, 1917-1918 , shows him enlisting 20 Oct 1913 in the Columbus Barracks OH. He was born in Winburne PA and his regualr residence at enlistment in Punxsutawney PA. He served as a private first class and was discharged 27 Mar 1919. Surgeon's Certificate of Disability, 40% disabled.
  IN 1930 he is in prison in Milwaukee WI. He is single and assigned to farm labor. It shows his birth as 1894 in Pa and both parents born is Sweden. He is a veteran
