Note: Gladys was married briefly, but came home from an overnight visit to her mother's to find another woman's neglegee hanging in her closet! She left and never would admit to ever having been married. She took back her maiden name. She never had any children.
She worked for many years as a clerk at the May Company in downtown LA.
