Note: ere they joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They then moved to West Point, Lee Co. Iowa across the river from Nauvoo, Illinois. James Tucker apparently died there. Nancy and her children then moved to Indiantown, Pottawatamie Co. Iowa and from there, in July 1852, they joined the James C. Snow Company of immigrating saints and came to Salt Lake City, then to Pleasant Grove, UT. Later they moved to Ft. Mt. Pleasant in Sanpete County UT and finally settled in the little town of Fairview, UT. I was not able to find James Tucker and Nancy or Nathan Weeks and Sophia in the 1850 Census; However, they were enumerated in the Iowa State Census of 1852 in Indiantown, Pottawatamie County with Amasa Tucker as head of household and with three other males (George & Charles Tucker, and Rueben Weeks, son of Sophia and Nathan S. Weeks) and two females (his mother, Nancy (Joy) Tucker and Sophia E. (Tucker) Weeks.) This census appears to have been taken early in the year of 1852 and the family were on their way to Utah by the 5th of July, 1852 when they joined the James C. Snow Company of immigrating saints. 1860 US Census: Mt.
