Note: Ezekiel died at his residence in Edgefield District in the fiftieth year of his age. He died of an obstinate attack of the congestive fever. He was a member of the Baptist Church for upwards of 30 years. He left a wife and seven children. ("The Edgefield Advertiser,"October 11, 1843)
