Obituary:
GREENWOOD - The graveside service for Mrs. Annie Sue Broadwater Beckham, 93, of 437 Cambridge Ave., formerly of Lancaster, who died Wednesday, March 29, 1995, at the National Health Care Center in Greenwood, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Westside Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Steve Morgan officiating.
Born in Edgefield County, Mrs. Beckham was a retired elementary school teacher. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was the widow of Henry G. Beckham.
Surviving are her son, Henry G. Beckham Jr. of Lancaster; her daughter, Emily McLane of Gaffney; her sister, Emmie Kinard of Epworth; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Mahaffey Funeral Home.
