a. Note:   Abram was in Company "B" Sixth Regiment, Cavalry in the Civil War. He enlisted on June 30,1862 at the Edgefield Court House. He served through the war and was evidently captured by the Union Army. He appears on the roll for the Prisoners of War. It is not stated when he was captured but he was paroled at Augusta, GA on May 18, 1865.
