William Lester Broadwater served in the Army of the United States as a Private from January 7, 1941 to October 13, 1941 as a detachment in the Medical Department. Transferred to Enlisted Reserve Corps October 13, 1941.
He was given an Honorable Discharge on November 16, 1945 as a Private First Class in Company A 717th Railway Operating Battalion. He served overseas during World War II.
