Note: Barbara E. Fogle VOkes , 56, of Lower Burrell died Monday August 23, 1999 in Citizens General Hospital New Kensington. Born November 16, 1942 in New Kensington, she lived in the Valley all her life. Mrs. Vokes was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church New Kensington. Survivors include three sons, Joseph Jr., Michael and Raymond Vokes all of Lower Burrell: five grandchildren; her mother, Angeline S. Biriocchi Fogle of Arnold, and two brothers Phillip Fogle of Natrona and Raymond Fogle of Lower Burrell. She was preceded in death by a son Eugene Vokes, her father, Elmer J. Fogle, Sr. and a brother Elmer J. Fogle, Jr. Friend and family may call from 2-4 and 7-9 today in Churchfield--Peters Funeral home , 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensignton. where a parting prayer service will be at 9;30 am on Wednesday., and a Christian Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church with the Rev. George W. Swast officating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
