Note: Virginia Fogle Slater 75, of Arnold towers, Arnold, died yesterday (July 23, 1984) in her home.
Born March 5, 1909 in Wheeling, W.VA. she was a daughter of the later Charles and Sylvia Crawford Fogle.
Mrs. Slater lived in the area for the past 30 years after moving here from Belair, Ohio.
Mrs. Slater is survived by a son George Jacobs of Phoenix, Arizona, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Robert (Audrey) Miller of Upper Burrell Township and Dolores Sperski of Arnold; a brother Elmer J. Fogle of New Kensington and two sisters Elsie Curry of Jewett , Ohio and Margaret Hockman on Minnesota and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Elmer Jacobs; her second husband, Thomas Slater and by 7 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 2-4- and 7-9- in the Rusiewicz Funeral Home in Arnold, where services will be conducted tommrow at 10:00 am by the Rev. E. Eugene Ankney, Burial will follow in the Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.
