Note: Eliseo Biricocchi, 95, of 1718 Riverside Drive, Arnold, was dead on arrival at Citizens General Hospital, New Kensigton, yesterday (July 6, 1978) at 6:45 pm after a short illness.
Mr. Biricocchi was born January 29, 2883 in Italy. He emigrated to the United States 80 years ago and had been a resident of the area for 65 years.
He worked for Alcoa for 30 years and retired 25 years ago.
He was a member of Mount St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, Sons of Columbus Lodge 47, Arnold and 25-year club of Alcoa.
He is survived by his wife Mary Mastriano Biricocchi; one son, Albert of Arnold; five daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Angeline) Fogle, Mrs. John (Mary) McIntyre, Mrs. William (Sarah) Seaman, all of New Kensington, Mrs. Paul (Jean) McCullough of Freeport, and Mrs. Charles (Josephine) DeStefano of Swissvale; one brother, Joseph in Italy; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. One son, Frank died in 1970.
Friends will be received from 2-4- & 7-9 Saturday and Sunday in the Manzella-Giunta Funeral Home, 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, Pa. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 AM in Mount St. Peters Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in Arnold. A parish wake will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 8:30 pm.
