Note: From Louise Rhode 09/18/88 Virginia 'Aunt Vie' Pollick Berry and son Orvill ran Narrows Hotel (Riverside Hotel) on the railroad at Beaver AR. before 1917. Her nephew, Henry McLain worked at the hotel before he got married.
Ruby McLain's first husband, Louie Parkhill, was killed in 1925 where he worked (the railroad Louise thinks). Ruby got a lot of money. She bought a farm at Alma AR and moved Jim and Louis with her. Later John McLain went also, prior to 1935.
After her mother died, Ruby lived with her Aunt Jane and woked at Aunt Vi's hoter.
John McLain lived at the Palace Bath house at Eureka before going to stay with Henry and Florence and the Ruby.
Henry McClain had only children in this family. Jim McClain adopted a daughter tha was raised by his sister Ruby McClain Parkhill Clark.
