Note: 67-October 1864) was the father of John Pollock. He was a blacksmith. One of the old records spells his name as Polluck! The luck part apparently meant bad luck, for according to the record of the court he was murdered. It appears also that he was married o Nancy Huling from 1781 to 1808, later to Marvel Perkins. Marvel was born in 1770 and died in 1867 at the age of 97. the date of this second marriage is unavailable. Jeremiah died in Sterling, Windham co, CT.

I have met two relatives on line from the John Pollok ancestry. they have records of Jerememiah Wilson Pollok married to a Nancy Hurling than I have ever heard of there being and he fathering 15 children. They differ in the marriage of Lydia one says that she was the mother of Nancy Hurling not the wife of Jeremiah Willison although it showes on websites that Lydia was the wife of
Jeremiah and they Lydia and Jeremiah had a son named Jeremiah H. 1705. so for whatever it may help I am including some of this information hoping some one can sort it out for me. We have concentrated mostly on Marvel Perkens being the Mother of John Pollok and the direct ties to Robert and down.
The Lydia that is listed on some web sites as the first wife of Jeremiah is actually the mother of Nancy Huling. Lydia was unmarried. She is in the census records of 1790. Jeremiah and Nancy were married Jan 6, 1795 in North Kingston, RI although the first child of theirs was born October 23, 1794. Her name was Sally and she died in 1813 in Voluntown, CT (Source: Providence Gazette, Feb. 4, 1813).
I then have them having a daughter Lydia in 1795, son William 1796, son Oliver T. 1797, Elizabeth, 1798, Joseph T, 1801 (my ancestor), Mary 1802, James W. 1803, Jeremiah W. 1805 (this Jeremiah drowned in Lake Ontario in 1831), Robert, 1807, Anna 1808, John 1810, Almyra, 1811, Alfred, 1813 and Erastus, 1815. The first six were born in Kingston, RI. The next three, I am unsure, either S. Kingston or Exeter. I have Robert and Anna born in S. Kingston and John through Erastus born in Exeter.
( I do not agree with the dates of these children nor the wifes name. In our records we have John being born of Marvel Perkins in 1812 in NY.) so the debate goes on..
I have followed Jeremiah Wilson Pollock through the census and land records. Land records from Kingston, RI dated Aug 6, 1795 show Jeremiah selling land to an Elisha Watson. His wife, Nancy, signed the deed also relinquishing her dower rights. She signs on many of his land transactions. The last bearing her dower release is dated Oct 4, 1808. So, she is still his wife then. The next land transaction is 1811 and she does not sign, so it is possible that Jeremiah has married Marvel by then.

Mary Huling sister of Nancy Huling left a will left property to Nancy and two nieces Sarah and Lydia.
Lydia the Mother of Nancy and Mary sister of Nancy transfered property to Jeremiah Pollock in N. Kingstown RI.
Jeremiah W. Pollock was ordered in Oct. 1810 and April 1812 by the supreme court of Washington, co RI to give quick claim deeds to Andrew Huling. who is the brother of Lydia Huling Mother of Nancy. this leads me to believe he was no longer married to Nancy in 1810 and was in deed married to Marvel Locke Perkins and had a son John in 1810. .
NOTE from the record of the Myron James book, it seems Jeremiah was married to Marvel Perkins at time of John Pollock birth in RI. the marriage of Nancy Huling ended in 1808. John was born in 1810. so the ones that were born after 1810 were also of Marvel and Jeremiah Wilson.
