Blood was born Feb. 22, 1847, in Ashtabula Co., OH, and departed this life June 17, 1929, at his home near Dansville, Mich., aged 82 years, 3 months and 26 days. In 1870 he was united in marriage with Miss Lydia Morehouse, who was claimed by death in 1897. To this union were born six children. Mrs. Alta Cole of Ocquoc, Mich, and George N. Blood of Dansville, remains to mourn his departure. The others are: Elmer Pollock and Miss Dolly Blood, who preceded him in death, as did two who died in infancy. Dec. 1910 he and Mrs. Zada Woodward were united in marriage. He is survived by the widow, two children, Alta and George, a brother, Cassius, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, besides their relatives and a host of friends, who united in mourning the loss of one who was a kind husband, loving father, and a friend to all.
