a. Note:   Deborah (Akerley) Allen died Jan 27, 1851, ae 53 yrs., 7 mos., 12 days, buried Wethersfield Cemetery, probably in the Town of Wethersfield, Wyoming Co., NY. Reference: Letter dated Jan 3, 1958, from Marian Akerly of Lodi, California, to Paul A. Barton. Miss Akerly stated that she found the burial. The same letter stated that Deborah married Abraham Allen, born 1795, died May 6, 1857, ae 62, buried Wethersfield Cemetery.

  <B>Isaac E. Allen</B>, always a resident of Wethersfield, was born here February 2nd, 1822. He was married June 25th, 1850 to Catharine Wait, who died June 2nd, 1852, leaving one son. July 4th, 1853, Mr. Allen married Lozana Blodget, of Wethersfield, who was born in Warsaw, June 6th, 1832. He located on his present farm of two hundred and forth acres on lot 13 in 1853, and has since put up large and commodious farm buildings, and made many other permanent inprovements. He is one of the leading dairy farmers in the town. He is a trustee of the Baptist church of Hermitage, of which he has been a member since 1836. His father, Abraham Allen, one of the first settlers in Wethersfield, was born in Mayfield, Fulton county, N.Y., July 8th , 1794, where he was married to <B>Deborah Akeley</B>, in 1814. In 1815 he came to Wethersfield and bought a farm on lot 17, to which he removed is family in the spring of 1816, cutting his own road for over a mile to his new home. In 1855 he removed to Eagle, where he died May 6th, 1857. His wife died June 27th, 1861."
