  "S. N. Naramore was born in Coeymans, Albany county, October 10th, 1829, and was married in 1852 to Miss T. D. Moorey, daughter of Joseph Moorey, an early resident of Warsaw, who died in September, 1862. Mr. Naramore's father, Elihu Naramore, of English descent, was a native of Albany county. He came to Eagle in 1832, and engaged in the dry goods and grocery trade. From 1864 to 1867 Mr. Naramore was the proprietor of a hotel at Eagle. In the fall of the latter year he purchased the store where he now does business. He has been notary public for twelve years, and has held the office of supervisor and other positions of trust and responsibility."
