Note: "In 1726, 1728, and 1730, [Thomas Cheever, son of Rev. Thomas Cheever,] purchased about 27.5 acres from the heirs of John and Lydia Paul. The heirs were Sarah Paul, James Whittemore and his wife Hannah, Henry Rhoades and his wife Elizabeth, Samuel Narremore and his wife Rachel, John Browne and his wife Mary. A dwelling-house and barn stood on the land conveyed by Narremore, which was near the dwelling of Sarah Paul, and was bounded north and south by Cheever, and west by John and Mary Browne. The land conveyed by Browne was 'near the now dwelling house of Ebenezer Dispaw,' and was bounded west and south by Cheever, east by land formerly of Samuel Narremore, and north by said Browne.
