Note: James' marriage license and marriage register for his marriage to Ann Marie Cutherell give both their parents' names. As of June 1866, James was 28 years old, which makes his birth year most likely 1838. This matches census information.
Interestingly, on the Marriage Book No. 1 of Norfolk County, a Thos B. Bartree (sp?) made the oath that Ann M. Cutherell was over 21. Were her parents dead by then?

James reported his death. This must be the death of Claudius, as the ages match and Charles appears on later census' and Claudius does not.
