Note: N215 Frank lived at 240 North Trowbridge St., Indianapolis, Indiana, with his parents, his older brother John, and his two sisters, whom he always revered. He attended Arsenal Technical High School and sang in the boys choir at Christ Cathedral when he was growing up. He attended Butler University for two years before getting a job on the railroad. Then he became employed by Radio Corporation of America (RCA) in the international division, first in Indianapolis, then New York City, then Camden, New Jersey, and finally back in Indianapolis. He retired about 1966. His military involvement was limited to ROTC in high school. Working at RCA was considered a critical job during WWII, so he was exempt. He was working in the division that made the night scopes used in the African campaign. He was a life-long church member: a Dutch Reformed Church in Hempstead New York, where he was Treasurer, and Southminster Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, volunteering at church, Billy Graham Crusades, and church camps. He was a stamp collector and avid golfer. He loved to play cards and sing, entertaining with his sisters at nursing homes, churches, and other venues that appreciated hymns, old fashioned songs like "Down by theOld Mill Stream," stories, and corny jokes. After his first wife Lorraine died, he married a long-time acquaintance, Bernice Bennett. He died of heart failure surrounded by his daughters and sister Jeannette singing "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" 16 NOV 1998 in Indianapolis, Indiana. After viewing at Shirley Brothers and a service at the church, he was interred at Washington Park East Cemetery.
