Peterson, 82, Indpls, will be held at 1p.m. Wednesday in Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, .... He died Sunday in a local nursing home. Mr. Peterson was born at Chicago and lived here [Indpls] for 75 years. A World War I Army veteran, he was a conductor and brakeman for the New York Central and Indianapolis Union (Belt) railroads more than 20 years, retiring 18 years ago [1962]. He was a member of E. 16th Street Christian Church, Marion Masonic Lodge[#35] and Scottish Rite. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frank Nauta." He was also a member of the VFW.
