Note: N236 In 1920 Minnie age 82 was living with her daughter Matilda Root, now awidow age 48 working at a laundry, and Matilda's two girls: Lillianage 23, who also worked at a laundry, and Dorothy age 18, who workedas a sales lady at a grocery. They owned their home (mortgaged) at 322N. Rural, Indpls. Minnie was born in Schomberg, Germany, as were both her parents. Shespoke German and English but was never naturalized (see 1920 census).
